is this a test of my endurance?

i can't get to sleep.
every night's the same.
a nightmare replaying over & over again.
i try to tire myself
with all the household chores.
but i just can't seem to close my eyes.

the laundry's done.
clothes hung.
kitchen floors scrubbed & cleaned.
dishes washed.
i'm feeling lethargic but i can't rest my head.

4days of sleepless nights.
how long must i endure?

i wait for the Sun to rise,
to see you by my side again.

I believe
I can still find the strength in the moments we made
